Tag Yourself as a Virtual Speaker

Tag Yourself as a Virtual Speaker

Organizers may need a presenter who can do a great job remotely. If you're equipped and practiced at giving virtual presentations using a tool like Zoom, make sure your profile is tagged that way so that you will come up in searches.

To be found in the “Virtual Presentation” search filter that event organizers use, you will need to tag your presentation(s) with the “Webinar / Virtual Presentation” presentation type.

virtual filter

You can do this in two ways:

Preferred method:
  1. Login to eSpeakers and go to EDIT YOUR PROFILE
  2. Select PROGRAMS along the left and then click the ADD button in the Programs section.

    add program

  3. For the program title, enter "Virtual presentation," and write something like this in the program description: “I can present any of my programs virtually. My office setting is professional, and I have high-quality equipment to broadcast my virtual presentation.”
  4. Click the TYPE OF PRESENTATION drop-down menu and select "webinar / virtual presentation"

    add detail

Having a single program set this way will ensure you're included in the relevant searches.

Alternate method:
  1. Login to eSpeakers and go to EDIT YOUR PROFILE
  2. Select PROGRAMS along the left and then click EDIT next to an existing program you can present virtually.
  3. Once you are in edit mode on your program, click the TYPE OF PRESENTATION drop-down menu and select "webinar / virtual presentation".
  4. Save your change, and now that program will be found when an event organizer searches with the “Virtual Presentation” search filter.
The draw-back to this alternative method is that the specific program you changed is now listed as virtual when you can also deliver it in person.
